FAQ

  • What is the VET Summit?

The VET Summit—short for Veteran Employment & Transition Summit—is an event produced by The RECON Network, an organization focused on the human element of veteran transition. What makes it different than other events is that it is a multiple-tracked event, providing education and resources for both veterans and companies that hire them.

  • Who is this event for?

Veterans, military spouses, and currently transitioning military personnel are all invited to attend this event for the information, resources and networking it provides. Additionally, we have a corporate track that is provided for companies' C-suite, HR department, staffing agencies, and any entity that is focused on or interested in veteran hiring and transition.

  • What if I left the military a long time ago, or already found a job?

Just because you already transitioned out of the military doesn't necessarily mean that your shift is complete—there are many that take years, multiple career shifts and numerous attempts to find a good "fit" after they leave the military. Our take is: if you see something you'd find value in, we hope you'll attend.

  • What about Military Spouses?

Glad you asked. We're in the process of developing a special track of presentations and resources just for military spouses who are facing their own transition—or looking to re-enter the workforce in a new location, or after a period of inactivity.

  • What is included with registration?

You'll get attendance to the "live" virtual event on one track (Veteran, Military Spouse or Corporate), 30-days access to all of the recorded sessions after the fact, downloadable tools and digital resources, an invitation to our live, virtual networking session on Thursday night.

  • What if I want to attend multiple tracks?

Every once in a while, we'll have someone who wants to attend multiple sessions or tracks. While we can't do this during the virtual conference itself, you will be able to access all sessions from all tracks after the conference is concluded.

  • I'm interested in sponsoring or partnering with this event. How do I help?

We'd love to talk to you more about this. We have a number of sponsorship opportunities for you to take advantage of, but would love to hear any other ideas you might have, as well. Send us an email at [email protected] and let us know what you have in mind.
